I feel for you Bob, sadly some people have little or no thought to others.
So long as they are having a good time that's all that matters to them !!!

Don’t make yourself ill Bob over the noisy reprobates who sound like my in-laws. Hopefully your neighbours will have burnt themselves out with the booze and excessive eating and will leave you alone.

Every day at 5 a.m the mosques wake up near us calling their followers to prayers and we have grown used to it, in fact it’s quite atmospheric and at weekends on a Friday and Saturday night, locals in the village across the valley can be heard playing their Bongo and tin drums to disco late into the night, also quite atmospheric.

Normally I get a warning that there is going to be a party, and I generally get an invite, But no warning this time, and the party only started at 1 am, so I'm assuming it was done on the spur of the moment. There are 3 cars parked outside which none of them I know.

Mate of mine had that problem a while ago. Not for the first time he was kept awake by noisy neighbours partying, his complaints were ignored and it kept going until the early hours. He took revenge this time, early the following morning he put a full size sheet of flooring chipboard against the dividing wall and began drilling holes in it with the drill on hammer setting

Well today has been very delightful

After my Canaries dismal display at Luton last night when they managed to lose to 10 men,Dean Smith was sacked today ,great news for all followers of the Canaries.

They are dancing in the street around Carrow Road singing "Lets be avin yer"and "Come on yew yellows".

Its coming home,footballs coming home

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Well! I think I have finally turned the corner with this cough/virus thing, I still actually don't know what I've had, one doc said it was Strep, and another said mild pneumonia, it has only taken 8 blooming weeks to start to feel better.

It started with a sore throat and a violent constant cough which lasted 4 weeks, it started to go at week 5, but then came back with vengeance. My daughters have had it, but thankfully nowhere near as bad, and my wife Tracey has so far avoided it, she's amazing, she always manages to avoid these things, I've always said she is super human.

Nothing much since we last chatted Phil, I'm still waiting for further surgery, it's been two years since the Orchi, and its only now I am feeling the benefits from it, but still not enough to live normally. I can honestly say the recovery has taken 20 months for all the recovery pain to settle, plus with some added relief from only having just one of the boyz swinging in the hammock, rather than the two.

How about you Phil, I've not logged in here much, so I'm a bit out of touch to what has been happening with you all?

Hi Bob, glad you are feeling better.

Snap Jeff, We just bought ingredients to make wholemeal cheese scones. We normally buy the Sainsburys farmhouse cheese scones, but it has been difficult to get them lately, even the Tesco ones have been out of stock, so maybe it's time to make my own, at least I can make as many as I like.

I bet you’ll prefer your own homemade ones Wes.

I’ve been swapping out white flour in all my cooking/baking for wholemeal instead .
Also shop bought bread, rice, pasta etc for wholemeal varieties.
I’m definitely feeling the benefits of it so far with better sugar levels, weight loss and more energy .
A lifestyle change I should have made many moons ago !

Let us know how your scones turn out
