Not up here it isn’t! It was meant to get to 13° with sun today, we had a bit of sun this morning but it was quite cold with the strong wind for the day.

Some thoughts on something different.

The Birthday’s

Elroy and myself are purely volunteers when it comes to the birthday greetings. We are not paid or or employed by the club for the task.

Tracking back to the start of the year, Elroy and myself have been doing the birthday’s, wishing members a Happy Birthday on their birthday.

These days hardly anyone says thank you to either Elroy or myself for wishing them a Happy Birthday. It’s of course made worse since the demise of the “Thank you” feature.

What is wrong with people, can they not be polite about it and write a simple word of thanks.

Why must they let themselves down like that?

Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Wigan? As Eddie Waring would say "That'll be an up and under!" End of the pier show?

Nice to feel a bit warmer here today. Just getting ready for mum's 98th birthday get together. Age range 4 to 98, so should be interesting. Rock on grandma! (Great grandma actually!)
