I've been floating around since about 8:30 but didn't have anything worth saying!

Pleasant here today, sunny but not hot, nice breeze as well.

Been digging out what tools I need to fit the new tap on the water barrel, main "tool" I need is someone daft enough to crawl inside the barrel to help undo the nut on the existing (leaky) tap then tighten the new one! I can't do it, my shoulders are wider than the top of the barrel

Afternoon all, Lovely here now the sun is out. I've been in the garden for most of the day potting on plants, tidying up & picking the rest of the shallots to dry out in the garage.


Pork chops cooked slow in the oven in a Chinese seasoning with some fried rice for tea tonight.

Ging was at a birthday down in the Lakes yesterday. She came home earlier bearing gifts, couple of big locally made pork pies and a couple of big pukka Cartmel sticky toffee puddings The pork pies from down there are brilliant, much better than anything you get in the shops up here, all you can get here are the mass produced things.

Evening all.

Been a busy day. Been to Par Market near St.Austell to get my meat supply. The prices are certainly on the rise. On the way there the dash cam fell off of the windshield, I was in my “other” car. Banana’s fell off yesterday.

So a trip to Halfords to get another sticky tab only to find they don’t stock them. But they refitted the camera using twin stick number plate pads.
I have ordered some tabs off of eBay.

Being doing model car prices search for a friend.

Nice bit of roast chicken, taters and green beans for tea.

Just having a can or two of Brothers Cider.

Off to the holiday home today,Son and Daughter in Law are having it for the week from Tomorrow,although is been left clean and tidy,Lesley want to get it ready(more hoovering) for them.

So they are going on a Summer Holiday in the Caravan of Love

That's gardening operations suspended. I was dead heading roses, what I could reach anyway, no way I'm venturing into the middle of the rose patch at the back, I'd end up needing a transfusion! Started getting cooler, sky steadily getting darker, time to pack up, got Ging's uniform off the line, walked in the back door just as the rain started.

Evening all just devoured a prawn curry.onion bahjis and lamb samosas,they were a bit lively,toilet roll in fridge awaiting a rumble
