Cool

3 cars washed. Banana, BBB and Marion’s chariot.

Cut the grass out the front on the orphan land, soon to be mine.
Cut the lawn at the back.
Trimmed my neighbours tree, cut up all the branches.
Trimmed the ivy till the battery died on the trimmer.

Sold some diecast spares on eBay

Going to start the listing the die cast collection on there.

Having a cuppa before getting dinner ready.

Thank you all for the kind words, she is at rest now overlooking Pefkos, there is a large cross on the hillside which is illuminated, every year the colour changes, for some strange reason, this year its blue!

Words were written in the visitors book in the small Chapel, I spent a few minutes looking over the village before walking back down.

This place doesn't seem the same anymore....

It's gone really warm late in the afternoon here so more laundry pegged out.
We're having a slice of homemade steak pie, chips, mushy peas & some of that chilli/cheese bread That bread is absolutely delicious & I will definitely be making more of it while the chilli's last.

Good morning all, this morning Jessica removed the dressings and everything is looking much better than in the photo, so we are leaving the wound to dry and heal “open”.

I have just come in from having a walk outside of the hotel as it is a lovely day, now resting up. Might have an ice cream later on.

Go easy on the ice cream. You are looking a lot better Phil. Keep up the good work.

Morning all, What a grey day. Great to see you up & feeling better Phil.
I've got an urology hospital appointment later today & I still haven't got my booster covid jab or the flu jab yet , I've got lots of docs/hospital appointments with my family all this week.

Morning all,

Great to see your continued post op recovery going well Phil.

Sorry I haven't been on the last few days.
I spoke to Phil (which was lovely) and I said at the time I wouldn't post anything on here nut have decided I will now.
On Saturday driving home from my Client in Ipswich I suddenly lost nearly all my vision in my left eye.
I managed to drive the rest of the way home with just one eye working.
Got a taxi straight down to the opticians who took photos of the back of my eyes.
I have had a massive bleed at the back of my left eye. My vision loss was the blood from the bleed obscuring my vision.
It was deemed not a detached retina but a consequence of my diabetic retinopathy .

I am attending the Primary Care Centre in Colchester (where I had my laser treatments) today to find out what intervention maybe needed.
In the meanwhile, most of my vision in my left eye has come back as the blood dissipates. I still have floaters over the vision but I can actually see out of it now.

I am not able to drive as my left eye is my predominant eye and my right eye isn't strong enough to use on its own.
I'm more than worried that I may not be passed fit to drive. I'm keeping everything crossed and have faith in the medical professionals.

My appointment is mid afternoon so will let you know how it went when I get home.

This is a wake up call to get much better control of my blood sugar levels!
