Good morning Steve.

I see you are getting ready for the season and having new windows put in, what a treat for the house and hopefully cheaper heating bills.

Cheers,

Well, there's always Lowestoft Yacht club to see us off from on the second leg. Not sure if it will be Monday or Tuesday though. We shall be guided by the best weather forecast

Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Remember when my folks were getting double glazing fitted years ago. Winter . . . . snow was so heavy there was a snowdrift building up in the hallway. The company's depot was on higher ground the other side of Edinburgh, for two days the guys couldn't even get to the depot to pick up the van etc.

Got a last of stuff I'm supposed to get done in the garden but can't go outside, peeing down, hasn't stopped raining since I got back from Manchester last Friday.

Wondering about dinner, big pack of chicken breasts in the freezer, tikka masala sauce in the cupboard but not sure if I want to make a bucket of curry, need to "pace" myself with it or I'd pretty soon be sick of it.
Hi Steve
How did you get with the cooking for yourself and the girls? Perhaps an opportunity to try and learn how to talk to them and practice howling or maybe not. The other night I was watching a documentary on Freeview about Vampires and how there are those who believe they are vampires. One young couple interviewed were dressed Gothic with white faces drinking glasses of blood, how bizarre, makes us in the chill out lounge appear normal in comparison.

Luqa? That brings back memories of a long time ago. I think it closed circa 1977 and what was the name of that street in Valletta ... the name escapes me for now.

I must say that I only heard tales of the street from others, I never frequented it myself. No siree.

It was not entirely tongue-in-cheek Jeff. I'd be surprised if hobby balloons or blimps do not exist for the purpose of carrying a camera. But I've never googled the matter though I do recall reading about the Hindenburg some time ago which, maybe unreasonably in my view, brought about the demise of the idea as a mode of transport at the time. Its designer wanted to use helium and more so after the loss of the British R101. However the US had a worldwide monopoly on the supply of helium at the time and it refused to export it. The rest is history but it could have been so different.

Hi Phil. Cooking isn't a problem, I do most of the cooking.

Morning all.

Weather looks not too shabby for part one of our boat relocation.

Will be arriving in Acle around 11.00am and slipping her lines at 12.00.

Will be live from time to time on Facebook and hope to take some photos to share on here later.

If all goes well we estimate to arrive in Lowestoft Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Marina around 15.30-16.30hrs .

Then its home in time for the Mexican Grand Prix Qualifying.

Back to Norfolk Monday or Tuesday to do the second leg from Lowestoft to Walton on the Naze
