It’s chucking it down here as well.
Heading out the door in 10 minutes to take my Step Dad down to Gatwick Airport.
He couldn’t have picked a nicer day to start his holiday !

Rain has stopped here but everything dripping wet.

Hoovering done, dusting done. Relaxing ahead of an early night, need to be up at 4am Hated those sort of rises when I was working and still do, I never get a decent sleep when I'm subconsciously "clockwatching".

Ging has just passed over the east coast of Thailand en route to Dubai. 90 minute or so stopover in Dubai then on to Manchester.

Morning . . . . I think . . . . ungodly time to be up! Had a restless night, as predicted, saw every hour.

Morning all...

Talking of journeys from Hell..

My drive to Gatwick Airport took four hours. One and a half of that stuck on the Queen Elizabeth Bridge at Dartford.
An accident on the south side of the crossing at the junction with the A2 had the M25 clockwise closed for a while and the upshot of that was a two hour drive taking double.

Thankfully we got to the airport in time for my Step Dad to check-in for his flight to Goa.

The drive back was fine and took about two hours as expected.
However, the southbound M25 was still jammed solid from the A2 all the way back to the A127

Roll on two weeks time when I have to pick him up on his return!

Off to work this morning, at least the sun is shining

Cool

morning all.

Banana dropped off at the garage for her annual check up and MOT.

I thought I had a cold coming, well that's my excuse, so I had a drop of rum last night and slept for 9 hours.
