Sunny start in the Far East today!
Time to get the polish out! Or maybe the lawn mower, for the final cut of the year??? Or both!

Morning all

That dreaded Lurgi is still hanging on

Sun is out and blue sky order of the day here

Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

A neighbour is burning rubbish! Why wait for a bright and sunny day? The locals have washing in and out like a fiddlers elbow! That's the polishing on hold then!

Inconsiderate!

Everything is dripping wet here, rain overnight and drizzle this morning.

Need to have a go at fixing the bottom of one of the bird feeders. Has a ceramic top and bottom, bottom got broken . . . . again! Its getting very near retirement anyway, bottom of the clear plastic tube is breaking up a bit.

What a miserable grey wet day, They forecast no rain today but we've had that fine mist all day, I've only been out to put the wheelie bins out for tomorrow & I'm soaked through

The top two drawers in the set of drawers upstairs have collapsed because my missus keeps overfilling them
I've got to sort that lot out & most of that junk is going straight in the bin

It's supposed to be shopping day today but my missus hip is giving her gip & I've got enough on my plate so online shopping it is, Delivery this evening between 5-6pm.

If it is the bottoms that sag and pull the base out of the slots type, just run a hot glue gun around the edges, in a continuous bead, both inside and underneath the drawer. Never had one fail since I started doing this.

Got my head nipped about clearing out a couple of the drawers in the kitchen until I pointed out . . . . none of the cr@p in them is mine!

Yep the bottoms have collapsed under the sheer weight of stuff The amount of times this has happened over the years is ridiculous She's banned from going anywhere near my cupboards/drawers in the mancave for this very reason.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the hardboard bottoms are cracked & I'll have to find something in the timber stores to make new ones.

I'm not even going to mention binning it Steve. The junk is definitely not going back in them that's for sure, I'll take the consequences.

Lovely day here. Wet overnight, drizzle this morning, "dry" around lunchtime and now the drizzle is back

Morning all,

Weather looks set 'Fair' today

Shopping day this morning and going to take Mum whilst her Hubby is in India.

Might pop over to the boat later. Make a start on giving the topsides a clean.
