All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Good morning all, good morning Ian,
The greenhouse you have there, looks strong and up to the task, nice one.

This afternoon it’s GP doing the finger up, take a deep breath and smile test.
Hope you and your good lady are keeping warm.

What are your plans for Christmas?

Afternoon Phil. Yes that used greenhouse was a good buy off the ebay I cant wait for Spring to come around & start growing again.

Oh 'eck! Good luck with that procedure & hope all will be fine.

Christmas plans have been thrown into chaos as my younger brother isn't doing very well, He had a section of his colon removed last year & thought that was the last of the cancer but it's spread to his prostate & bladder now & a tumour on his lower spine

He goes under the knife again at Christies on the 18th December to remove his prostate & bladder & hopefully that tumour on his spine, He also has a huge hernia on his stomach through the operations & that needs addressing too. Worrying times for the family.
We'll still be going around to Mams for Christmas day & praying for some good news about my bro.

Least the doctor will have somewhere to warm his finger

Been a couple of hefty snow showers here. Pentland Hills are white but nothing lying at this level.

Cool

Afternoon all.

Had some sleet but that was it. Dartmoor has snow and so does West Cornwall.

Done my shopping over the bridge and into England.

Heating on.

Ian, I am sorry to hear your younger brother is having a rough time and is going to have major surgery. Hopefully the surgeon will be able to remove all of the cancer. A difficult time for you all.

Hi Steve, when I passed on your comments to the doctor he had a good laugh.

He was very kind when he used the finger, donning rubber gloves and applying plenty of KY, gently slipping in, moving it to the right and then moving it to the left. Not at all painful or anything.

In his opinion, the prostate had shrunk and as the PSA was below one, he said it’s nothing to worry about.

Hope you are keeping warm and looking after Ging and the girls

I feel the cold a lot more than I ever did before. Dunno if its just one of those (many) things nobody warns you happens when you are getting older.
