Hi Ian,

The scones were made using Doves Farm Emmer wholemeal plain flour but the sausage rolls were made with ready rolled puff pastry from M&S.

I will be trying to make some wholemeal puff pastry from scratch next time though.

Good morning Jeff

Thank you for posting up the photos of your latest creation. You’re lucky you are able to eat such a fine meal.

Yesterday I saw the specialist at his clinic to get the results of the stomach biopsy and to pay his bill. Another hot day at 30C

A great result: no stomach cancer, no stomach ulcer and no stomach infection.

But I did receive a warning to reduce the Prazole anti-acid medication capsule because it has caused the lining of the stomach to become very thin.

Over time the lining will regrow to become normal, providing I am able to reduce the dosage. I have already started by reducing the Esomeprazole from 40mg twice daily to once daily. He would like me to get it down to 20mg daily and to step it back up if I get symptoms again, in other words to titrate the dose safely to the minimum.

Jessica is having physio this afternoon.

This morning the solar is being upgraded and installed, this will take 2 days.

What are you up to?

Morning all Morning Phil, It's a frosty morning here, I'm on hospital taxi duty again shortly taking my missus to Wrightington hospital to see the consultant again about her joint pain.

Great news about the stomach biopsy Phil. I've been on Omeprazole 20 mg for decades & couldn't half the things I eat without it.

Toad in the hole looks bootiful Jeff, I still haven't got around to making that yet.

I had a similar experience with Omeprazole. I took less and less and now use Rochester (trade name) ginger (drink) instead (about a small wine glass). Around a fiver a bottle. Almost instant relief and no after effects - good for you and natural! Mike

Two & a half hours sat in waiting in Wrightington hospital, I'd seized up by that time & could barely move, The place was choc-a-bloc & even had to queue up to park the car.

Just made some sausage rolls

Hi Phil,

Remember that they are cooked using healthy wholemeal organic flour, olive oil, etc. No dodgy stuff lol

Hope the medication reduction works for you and that Jessica's physio went well
