Don't tell him, Pike! Just been on the news that Ian Lavender, the last surviving Dad's Army cast member has died at 77. Very sad but a bit of a surprise as I had thought that Clive Dunn was still with us.
This particular Cortina was used in professional rally events during its lifetime.
It is fully rally specced with everything to facilitate the sport

Evening. Had a couple of rough days in the form of intense pain at the base of my right thumb of all places Pain travelled the length of the thumb and even, to a degree, into the first finger, Everything I checked says arthritis . . . . hope not, my mother was absolutely knackered with it. Pain seems to have eased a bit today but that may be because I haven't done as much.

Too much strumming and picking! The old ibuprofen works for me. Just have to have extra toast to take off the queazy feeling. Hope you are soon better. The cold and damp makes it worse. I keep trying to get a prescription for Tenerife!!!

I very rarely play these days due to problems with my left hand, getting my fingers into the contortions around the neck causes my fingers to lock and I mean lock, if a finger or the thumb locks I can't move it with any amount of willpower, I have to use my other hand to move/free them. Due to all my other problems ibuprofen is a no no, most over the counter stuff is a no no, only thing I can take without consulting the General Medical Council is paracetamol.

Morning all,

Chucking it down here. I was meant to be working in Braintree this morning but we have rescheduled that for Tuesday instead.
Will have to wait and see if tomorrows job is a go or no go!

Such fun.

Guess I'll do some baking instead

Default The Chill Out Zone

Morning all, just at physio for Jessica’s back trouble. A hot day yesterday and today and will finish packing for our trip to the coast on Saturday.

We will be flying on Skyward Express which has a reputation for old planes and planes with smoking engines, the flight will be interesting.

Here are a few photos from the garden, the bird table and the meadow where the cows are, a portable electric fence powered by a solar panel and a motorcycle battery.
