Dear God! Scotland beaten by Italy Good job my father is no longer around.
One of Ging's friends (nurse) is just back from volunteering with the earthquake victims in Morocco. Brought me back some duty free fags and something for Ging as well. She won't take anything for the fags despite my best efforts. Box says 400 cigarettes . . . . can't be 400 in that, not big enough . . . . there is! Some super slim things that I've never heard of before, ok though. |

However, if my original unit proves to be BER I’ll probably go for a reputable branded one . I don’t want the risk associated with the unbranded ones. Not just from a safety point of view but also my insurance and issues that could arise with a the BSS etc.

Before I left the UK, I bought a car parking heater to help with defrosting I had seen advertised in The Sun. The heater was cheap but rubbish and did not live up to its claims, made in China. I know how much you paid for Lady Emma and how much you have invested. I think you know what you have to do. If money is tight, what about getting an original recon unit or an older version from the manufacturer? Great photos by the way of our 4 legged friends, keep them coming |

Good morning all, we hear the weather is bad in the UK again and hopefully everyone is safe.
Today we are meeting up with friends for breakfast and having a leisurely day. I did too much physio in the gym and need to pace it with more breaks…….. What is everyone up to? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

A reconditioned unit would be great but not readily available. The company that made y heater (Ardic) were bought out by Eberspacher who gradually phased the Ardic range out in favour of their own. Espar are the company that deals with supply, repair and servicing of both Eberspacher and Ardic and I have been in contact with them from the beginning on resolving the issue. There is a limited stock of remaining spares for my unit so I guess that is why they are few and far between on the used/recon market. You never know though. The issue doesn't stop at just the heater unit of course. It would also mean modifying things so the warm air ducting, exhaust system and control/thermostat all can be made to fit/work with another unit. It'll wait for now Phil Hopefuly the warmer days will mean not needing the heater whilst out cruising. When moored up and plugged in to shore power we cn run the electric heating anyhow, so no need to get cold overnight once the sun sets
