Luckily no one was injured and the car was lucky to after having it looked over by garage the only damage is a wheel bearing. Never had a front wheel drive car do this before it was as tho the back end of the car was on ice no warning it was going to slide it's fitted with new tyres all round so it wasn't for lack of tread or that I was speeding only thing I can think is that a friendly farmer (as near a farm entrance) had spilt some diesel.
The only times I have had front drive cars step out on me, were caused by fuel/oil spills a few times but once was a soft (like 10psi - from 32) rear tyre. Are all your pressures ok? Although with 255s on the rear, I wouldnt know what pressure should be in them. I would imagine they should be a different pressure to the 225 .

Just remembered another time a front drive stepped out on me. The camber in the road changed just as I took my foot off the accelerator pedal at about 25 - 30 mph (!!!!), on a damp road. That one actually turned into a tank slapper!

I fear at best that is going to cause an imbalance that's a very wide tyre that would at worse aquaplane sooner than the fronts
Much as though you might not want to hear it I would take a hit and sort it

I dunno. Tyres are the most important element on any car. Primary safety. Skimp on anything other than tyres.

I would get that looked at as Weso said, seems similar sizes as series 3 m sports and they jump all over the road as tyre edges ride the ridges differently. Just google m sport you will get loads horror stories about handling jumping about due to differing tyres sizes.

My ZT runs on zz3s at the moment with Apex's I bought and sticks to road. My straights have new set zz5s and there much better still.

Today I changed the air filter and pollen filter on my zt-t. Many thanks to Arctic for the pollen filter "how to" guide. It made a potentially infuriating job very straightforward!

With reference to the Pollen Filters yes, they are the same.

These are the cheapest I've found, although I prefer the Carbon Activated ones which are not so cheap!...
