I wanted a black one, but couldn't find one in a reasonable time, so Silver it was, I must admit, I wasn't 100% sure, but I am glad I got this now (after black).

It also makes my job as archivist for the MGCC more difficult. Personally, any data that can be seen from outside the car 'in the real world' is fair game as far as i am concerned. Still each to thier own i suppose...

As I said Andrew, some folks worry about it Some folks don't think about it and then worry after the event.
In my view, it is quite possible from an internet forum to ascertain the owners name, roughly where they live, where they work and any other details they tend to give up most willingly in public. We tend on here to err on the side of caution and advise not to post any personal info at all. Case in point, A VX220 is parked on my street and the owner lives elswhere, being a nosey NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-, I took the reg number and the fact that he had a pistonheads sticker on his car. I now know his name his email address, where he works, his home phone number and address, plus his girlfriends name and where he plays golf. All from a forum sticker. I will of course ring him if I see anyone break in or any damage done to his car. BTW this person lives 2 miles from where he parks, which is what set me investigating in the first place. |

I think the positives out-weight the negatives, certainly this one anyway.

Hi
A pic I took today after trying some new wheels on, It has the 18inch straights but I have just bought these. It is Anthrecite in colour but looks black in this pic. I will try to get some better pics at a more interesting location. Ian.
