this problem has now been solved with thanks to my son Steves Cleenz Dobson he plugged in the laptop and it was showing the throttle was at 100% open we lifted the bonnet onlt to find the cable had not been plugged in on the throttle body after putting it back on started the car and revs went straight back to normal a big thanks to my son and THANKS to those who didnt put it on when the engine was taken out I think it has cost me about £25 in extra fuel
