Could you post a wiring diagram please?

I have an earlier FBH that needs GROUND to pin 3 (rather than +12v). Would this still work?

I've always wanted something like this, but it seemed like quite a faff to fit vs the reward and expensive. This looks like it'll take 30 mins and give me change out of a tenner!

Does it take in 2x 12v lives, or just one?

I.E. does it take in power, and give this power to a component? Or does it run off the 12v, and then make a circuit between to wires (which I could then use with a ground).

The red wire on the remote splices in to the 12v feed on the fbh the black wire on the remote you ground, i used a circular crimp connector and bolted it to one of the 3 bolts that hold the fbh to the bracket, then you scotchlok one of the yellow wires of the remote to the black earth wire and one to the wire that connects to pin 3.

Hopefully this will help those wishing for a basic remote operation of the FBH by condensing all the required information into 1 post.
If you wanted to operate the cabin blowers I think you'll find that pin 4 on the 6 pin connector will have gone live when the heater fires up. Connect that to a relay and in to the fan motor.

It's worth noting that some of the older genuine webasto telestarts are selling on eBay for reasonable prices at the moment as well but nothing as low as a tenner. Well done with that.

I upgraded my T80 to a T90 receiver for £40 this week which allows me to use a nice small fob with a 1km range(T91 model).
