I cleaned all the mayo off the cap, and this morning I drove with the vehicle. The cap was full of mayo and the coolant level went down. I think the coolant goes into the engine oil. Where is the oil cooler located? |

At the front lower edge of the engine on the right hand side (when viewed from the driving seat) immediately in front of the oil filter.

Also what colour is the exhaust smoke? If it's not white then that's likely an indication that it's something other than a HG.

Hello, the coolant coming out of the oil cooler is the right color.
On the other hand, I have changed engine oil,and the oil has a chocolate colour. The previous oil change is only a month old. I’m really starting to worry. |

Do the Crackle Test as I described earlier and you'll be 100% sure if water's present.
Oil cooler cross-leakage is usually 'tested' by simply bypassing the coolant flow using rubber hose and suitable clips. If coolant loss stops, you again have 100% answer. TC |

I drove an hour with new oil and new coolant. The cap already has a lot of mayo.
I will do the crackle test tomorrow. I think the coolant goes into the engine oil. I am so disgusted. This car keeps giving me trouble. |
