So, this is the key issue that I would need to ensure is resolved?

Don't suppose you could be persuaded to do a CDTi dualfuel for your swansong...?

In my view, that is the main worry: to ensure the correct ratio over the complete revs and load range. It would require a lot of mods to a conventional LPG system to get the mapping right, not to mention preventing the driver from upping the ratio!

I'd want to do it on my own car first. Nearly bought a diesel tourer a couple of weeks ago as it was a real bargain and had already decided to add the LPG as an excuse for buying. I miss the load carrying capacity now all my Sterlings have gone and that was the best buy I have seen regardless of the engine.

Right, I have had a reply but not sure if I am any the wiser....

Thank you for your mail,
We do not offer an installation service but can supply you the full
kit.
The system uses a combination of manifold pressure and rev signal to
regulate the amount of LPG that is fed into the engine, this ensures
the
correct amount is added over the complete range.
The full kit with a cylinder tank upto 40ltr will cost £625 + vat
(donut
tank adds £50 + vat.

Why no installation option? This is not something I would wish to do myself....
I wonder if this method of ensuring correct ratios is reliable?

Casual enquiries only. The tank space puts people off. It would not stop me as I have been constantly itching to get a V8! I should not have bought my toy, the old Legend Coupé,
makes the Rover seem sluggish. (How do I quickly get an acute accent for the 'e' in Coupé? It's annoying.)
