I had the same problem and got some new OEM clips (Part No. EKM100270).
I located them in the kick-strip first and then pushed them firmly down.
She still keeps kicking them, but they have been fine ever since

I wouldn't use Bostik. I previous owner did that to mine on the driver's side.
It made a right mess and got into the velour. I ended up replacing the door seal.

like in everything else, you have to be careful

Ever since Jean had a knee replaced she has kicked the door fingie off every time she gets in the car.

New fir trees wont help as she has now broken the recesses on the back. So next job is deff some large self tappers innit..

No, it calls for getting some new trim! How you can attack it with self-tappers totally amazes me!!! I think you need to go buy yourself a Ford Transit - INNIT!

Mrs W not so keen on my Connie as I spend money on it on 'important' things and spend allot of time cleaning it; better habit than alcoholism or cigarettes I say !

Still it falls off onto the passenger foot well whenever she gets in. She even blames Rover's demise on it - "no wonder they went bust if they couldn't figure out how to stop trim from dropping off!" It really annoys me that she can't climb into my beloved car without destroying something.

To avoid any further marital disharmony can anyone suggest short of super gluing it on, why it comes off and how to secure it?
If you want to use an adhesive mastic try "Sticks like Sh*t" from Screwfix. I've used it on loads of things, I had to replace the missing jacking pads on my car, they won't budge now.

James, there must be less extreme measures than using large self tappers on Jean's knee to stop the kicking of the trim innit?

What are those white things called? Mine have given up the goose.

The last person who had my car evidently used Silicon sealant to reattach them and some screws.
