I never got to know Ted, but he sounds like a lovely fellow. So sorry that he has departed - I feel for his family.

very sad news indeed, Last time I met Ted was at the Lincolnshire meet in the summer of 2022. Old RAF camp! I don't know that many of our members, but Ted stood out for his humour and knowledge!

Ted was a great chap with a wonderful sense of humour it was always a pleasure to talk with him.
