![]() Clearly the van driver was struggling to see, but I cant believe that non of you have ever been blinded by the sun. Only the other morning I was driving into the sun (with dark glasses) and a cyclist coming in the other direction turned right in front of me. Up to that point I hadnt seen him as he had been in shadow. Had I been on a straight bit of road I no doubt would have seen him earlier, but I had just come over a crest on a bend.
If it's true and his life has suffered due to this accident, I dont see that locking him up for years is going to help anyone. Had the driver been a sexy young lass, I doubt the comments would be as critical. |
