DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE

As we only recently (late July) acquired the Classic CDT there was no list earlier but we have one now:-

1) Sort out clonk on O/S/F............... believe it's the middle ball joint on the lower arm.
2) Auto box service

3) Handbrake Compensator

4) Change Harmony unit for DD sat nav

5) replace instrument pack

6) Possibly fit projector head lights.

I finished my moonstone saloon, had it pretty much how I wanted it, then bought an 06 tourer. SWMBO said one of the tourers or the saloon had to go. I foolishly sold the saloon and immediately I saw its tail lights vanishing round the corner wished I hadn't.

The petrol tourer had HGF for the multiple time so I lost patience with it and gave it to my brother.

I've now bought an 04 saloon because I couldn't find a tourer in this country that was both for sale and worth having.

So everything that was on my list for 2016 with the saloon is pretty much needing doing again to its replacement

Good job I love these cars

Things didn't work out the way I wanted them to as I ended up selling the MG ZTT.
It wasn't a decision I took lightly but the original owner of the car made me an offer and I accepted it.

Seeing as my Rover 75 1.8T hadn't been driven for 7 months although it's taxed, insured and MOT'd, I will now get this one up to the specification that I want for it.

Being in hospital then not allowed to do anything for over 6 months changed everything, it wasn't anyone's fault but still annoying.

So my new list is as follows;

Fit full leather interior - which I already have
Change steering wheel - have this
Gearbox oil changed
Fit auto-dim mirror - have this
Fit the new door cards - have these
Upgrade the door speakers - have these
Refit my Pioneer head unit
Bonnet mod to do - I know naughty me haven't done this yet!
Plenum mod to do = Nor this, oops!
Fit new fan - have this
VVC inlet manifold - have this
Shannon tube

I know there is some other stuff to do but can't for the life of me think what else it is at the moment.

I'm needing to start a new list - which is handy as it'll be a new year soon

this last year I've managed to complete a few necessary mechanical jobs along with some personal cosmetic improvements

Discs/Pads allround
Plugs/Coils/Leads all filters etc.
Boost Controller x2
ZT 120 wheels
new tyres
ZT steering wheel/mk1 Rover airbag
ZT handbrake/Gearstick Gaiters
Head Gasket repair inc, water pump belts etc..
New Cat
New Backbox
fitted front foglights
upgraded Gold resistor fitted
replaced shanon tube
fixed faulty passenger door lock
new stereo
Vinyl wrapped Centre Dash console

and Just done this weekend fixed a coolant leak (new outlet elbow Gasket) and VVC inlet Manifold mod completed - yesterday, fitted a Boost Gauge in the clock housing

there are always more "things to do"

Transmission oil change
Bleed brakes
Turbo re-build/renewal
New Clutch (upgraded)
wheel refurb
Navall system
Digital Coolant temp display
K-maps (Z&F) remap (200bhp?)
Upgraded Boost Control Solenoid
Suspension - yep, all of it

that's all i can think of just now for "Done" and "to do" - i'll write a list when i can remember "everything" lol.
