Thumbs up

NASA's Apollo programme was big news back in the day but its successor, Artemis (Apollo's twin sister), is well underway and it seems quietly so in comparison. The next decade looks to be interesting with what they have planned to achieve with Artemis and good to see that the UK will be involved as it is with the ISS via its contribution with ESA.

Brings back wonderful memories of Radio and Journey Into Space in the 50's. Jock and Lemmy? Or was that Dick Barton?

The space race gave rise to a few shows and I seem to recall the Moon featuring more often in the lyrics of some of the songs that charted.

Read today that the moon landing cost India $75 million . . . . in contrast the Hollywood film "Gravity" cost $100 million
