Pop it in (don't lose the navigation card) go to apps then apk installer. Click on TF card then click the apk file on the right hand side and click okay if prompted. When completed just click exit, remove card and pop your navigation card back in the slot

Thanks Sir Jeff. That's great.
I had a few reservations about IGO to start with, but now finding it great Before Xmas I mentioned I would send my TPMS unit back, because aerial connector had come apart ! I will now send it for repair, OK, ta. I also will pop my ELM that I bought from Sean in the same packet. Could you check it over for me, 'cause it will not connect. If it's gone U/S can you replace it for me (with better unit if poss), Will I settle up with you or Sean ? trimani (ALF) PS: Rick-sta, sorry about pinch of post Last edited by trimani; 14th January 2016 at 15:33.. |

I wonder if we might be at cross purposes here. My car is laid up for the winter, so my tests are confined to the garage. This being so, the navigation has not had a REAL road test. My equivalent of a road test of the tts voice, is to select the home button, which prompts the nice lady to say in an extremely slow voice " y-o-u. H-a-v-e. R-e-a-c-h-e-d. Y-o-u-r. D-e-s-t-I-n-a-t-i-o-n" And in the general settings field I can make the voice any speed from dead slow to ridiculously fast, but it appear to have no effect in the app. Or is just the way I am testing that is at fault?? |

I haven't come across the settings to alter the speed of the announcements. I will have to have a look. However, as I said previously, I like 'Kate with road names announced'. It comes out very slow on test, but in practice, on the road, it's fine. I would really prefer the normal voice, rather than the TTS. but they don't give 'Road names announced' with that option. My overall opinion of 'IGO' is very good. I've had TomTom, Wince, and Primo. I preferred Primo at first, but after a bit of testing, playing with options, and adjustment, I have come out in favour or 'IGO'. This is the latest version for Navall 3. Another bonus at this end (a big one) is my missus likes it. trimani (ALF) |
