I never gave top speed any consideration, having only ever had diesel 75s.
That info is surprising, other than the V8 which is what you'd expect |

No, I wasn't suggesting it was less than correct John, just that it was surprising to me as I had never given it any consideration when I bought my first 75. The top speed for the diesels, both power levels, is a particular eye-opener. I don't think VeeKay has ever seen the far side of 80 mph (ias )

Top speed in this country is irrelevant - usable power is the key

Was talking to a lad a work today - 18 yrs old, he's just written off his Saxo by rolling it 3 times - walked away and having seen the car God alone knows how, anyway I'd taken the 260 to work which is rare and he was talking about it and first question was 'Is it fast', told him it was limited to 155 and he said 'can't that be removed' - kids!!!!!

A lot on the continent including Germany where I would be annoyed to have to slow down to 100mph. Home to Brno in a day regularly, can't believe it now, I drive like a magistrate. |
