With upwards of 75kgs on the tow ball, and 1200 kgs of 'van weight - I would have thought there may have been a bit of a problem with traction

Let's not be too quick to judge...It could be either:
1/ He's booked his holiday and he's "going on holiday - no matter what!" 2/ He's making his way home from a holiday and has no choice but to deal as best he can with the severe weather conditions he's encountered on his way home. We don't know... Malc. |

On a day when gritters overturn, plane flights are cancelled, trains don't run, 4x4's end up shiny side down, you can rely on a Rover driver to don his flat cap, pull on his driving gloves, button his cardigan and get the caravan hitched for a jolly nice drive out.
