Thanks Simon, I won't be making any shortcuts in getting the car repaired. I don't mind spending some money on it as it's a really nice car. I know the guys at the garage and they are honest. Don't worry no K"-Seal

If it was a private sale, i.e. the seller is not running a business, then I am afraid that he is correct. The legal phrase is "caveat emptor" which means "let the buyer beware".

Still, on the bright side, you have a distinctive car which when repaired will be fantastic value for money.

Thanks for this, I will definitely be calling them to do the repairs if it can't be fixed here in Fulham or if my garage is too pricey.

It's not the head gasket after the pressure test, coolant been cleaned and flushed out twice.

Spoke with MG Rover mobile mechanic and straight away diagnostic of a faulty turbo....
