Good news

I found a couple of SATA Cables in my "Box 'O' Bits" and one of them had the plastic jammed in from the HDD so I managed to get the HDD working again

Hi, If you have`nt already solved your problem, do`nt attempt to open up the HDD. You can get a HDD Docking Station from your local Maplins, the weight of the HDD will hold it steady to make contact and retrieve your pictures. Cost is minimal when you consider loss of photo`s and info stored.
