I've often wondered what VW/Audi drivers do with the finger that would be used for flicking the indicator stalk in any other car.

Woould the above gents please enlighten?

I use it to activate said indicator, same as when in my MG
A pet hate of mine is peeps lack of ability to activate an indicator for the benefit of other road users

the audi drivers finger is usually held up to the interior mirror when you flash them for pulling in front of you just missing your front wing with no indicators and standing on the brakes to avoid hitting the car in front of them whilst trying to dive down the slip road with 10 yards to spare

I use my finger the same way as I did when I had Sara; my Rover '75! The same as Jeff actually!

What were you showing the poor motorist? Maybe you distracted said motorist?
