Hi Ryszard,

No the EGR bypass is coated black so NOT stainless but no corrosion!
Yes the Starter solenoid repair kit is unused and still has full instructions with it.
I have sent a PM regarding payment and could you give me your address.

Dawn,

The towbar fits all R75 & MGZT saloons, I have always thought the same bar also fitted the estates but have seen some people disagree - if there is a difference then it is minor as I am sure I've seen the same towbar on an MGZT-T!

The towbar is Brink, a good make and one fitted as OEM, I think? It has a detachable tow ball and I have two keys for the locking device. It has two 7 pin towing sockets, for a caravan, with 12S & 12N sockets.

I removed it from the car with all the wiring as intact as possible , cut directly off at the orange/grey wire under the glove box so heavy wires taking load current to rear of car and also all wiring to the two small control boxes - 1 x TEB7AS smart 7 way relay and 1 x TEC3M auto switch. I wired it to the cars lights with lucas spade connectors with female top the two twisted ends of the lighting cable and male to the caravan sockets, which meant the continous feed to the cars lights were maintained with a branch off to the caravan, makes it easy to dismantle and install.

I have the original destructions and lots of extra info from the forum and internet printed off plus my own wiring diagram showing as I fitted everything and the various colour coded wires.

I would be asking for £120 complete but NOT including delivery as it is big and heavy, perhaps we could come to some arrangement on that?

Brgds Dennis.

If the towbar is OEM it will only fit the relevant model ie saloon in this case.
The aftermarket ones fit both as the bracket that fits in the chassis leg is adjustable as the offset between saloon and tourer is different.

You'll be surprised how cheap it can be to courier if you use send it now (parcel force) it'll be around £15 for upto 30kg there are size restrictions but a tow bar will be fine and within size.

Thanks Wullie,

I didn't know there was an actual difference but obvious when you think about it!
I'm sure when I bought the towbar they said it was good for both saloons and estates.

I'll look into the Parcel Force and other couriers as I have some fairly heavy/bulky items and would be good to be able to quote for delivery when pricing them.
