Oh my god, i'm speechless! That V8 Limo!!
I suppose when you look at it with an unbiased viewpoint, its simply a case of 'out with the old and in with the new'

Spending time auctioning off the leftovers isn't a viable use of manpower I guess, much easier to just get shut of everything in the quickest way possible.

A discraceful waste but what would have happened if MGR were still with us?

I went on a Range Rover unleashed event on September the 10th which was playing with the new Range Rover Evoque & all those lovely new cars at these events are destined for the crusher!

even if mg-r was still with us by law all of those cars had to go to the crusher , they are not even allowed to be broken for spares.
the fact a few development cars (like the fiat engined tourer)escaped was down to how inept the recievers were.!!!

Crying shame but MG Rover would have had to have scraped them. There will be some MG 6's that will be going in the crusher soon apparently

Hi
All of the "project" motors would be on the receivers books as ? tonage of scrap metal. and without the appropriate government stamp would have to be crushed as such.
I agree it,s not on and a waste of good stuff, but for rules like that we would be flooded with dangerous imported gear.
The best government cop-out to date "rules is rules"
