![]() Driving style does make a difference you right, but come on?? So on a steep hill covered in snow your telling me that you just drove up it with not a single slide or slip?? Round where I am if you have not got either winter tyres, chains or socks then you don't leave the house. I am pretty sure that not all the people in my village can't drive! ![]()

![]() I have 225/40/18 on at the minute. I was gonna put 45s back on like the Conti Sports, with it being a heavy powerful front wheel drive car I figured i'd at least be able to get off the street in the snow.

![]() I had some 15 inch " Uniroyal rainexpert" tyres fitted during the heavy snow last year, and they are brilliant.
![]() ![]() The only downside is they do make a bit of noise on some road surfaces on dry days.. ![]() ... |

![]() I have gone from 225/45/18 on gridspokes to 215/55/16 on unions.
I have gone for the tyres that came top of the Auto Bild Winter Tyre Test 2011, Michelin Alpin A4. Haven't fitted them yet, going to do that after the meet at Elvington. ![]() |
