I could agree as my CDT is just about to exceed 160,000 and is indeed a pleasure to drive, very quiet and relaxed.

Same here, just turned 161K, but do wish they would up the ante repairing the B roads around Hereford and the drive would be even sweeter when I'm down at my holiday caravan!

Me too 161k and yeah it s running really very quite.. I drive it at 70mph on the motorway and its just ticking over at 2200rpm... So what I do is ,,Drive it up to 70 at pace (I floor it) ,doing that just helps to clear the NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- out...

My 53 reg CDTI just passed 211430 and is still a pleasure to drive. There's more noise from the heater on defrost than the engine.

LOL ... only just gone past 120k miles ... MG ZT-T 2.0cdti ... are you guys trolling me? lol or is there really light at the end of the tunnel ? lol

After all the money I have recently spent, I now have some squeaky belt noise, getting louder with each drive over the last few days.

This squeaking sound was previously the pre cursor to snapping the belt tensioner and throwing the belt ... before i fitted a modified alternator

I wanna cry ... but I cant afford tissues. sleeve it is. lol

You 'High Milers', need to give up 'your secrets', lol

sitting over here, in your own little corner of the club website, lol ... , laughing amongst yourselves,.... laughing at us strugglers, as you all roll along mile after mile of trouble free motoring, while the rest of us battle and struggle, to keep our beasts on the road, lol
the germans had a word for this ...something like 'schadenfreude' the pleasure derived from anothers discomfort, lol (BMW knew alll about it) lol

you should be ashamed of yourselves, But I do hope My MG ZT-T manages to reach these idillic glory days, lol

You have no idea how much she has tried my patience and bank balance over the years but preventative maintenance is the key Mostly

I've mentioned a couple of them before but they didn't go down too well.
