oK.....So it seems it MIGHT be the EWS.

Took it off and yes there was green in the connector.

Cleaned the terminals.

But can someone confirm how many pins there should be on the EWS please.

I'm guessing these are coded and cant be just swapped for a new one

If I remember correctly there are 13 pins, but not all are in use, depends if you have an auto etc.

If you have cleaned the pins, that should hopefully be enough, pop it back in and see if its cured the door locking fault.

You could opened the box up for further inspection, its easy to do so.

To have the EWS unit replaced, the firmware from your EWS will need to be copied and transferred over to a donor EWS unit.

The EWS unit is located directly underneath the O/S sunroof drain tube, if these tubes are blocked, the EWS unit and loom suffers water ingress.

Yes....Mine has 2 larger flat ones....... 1 smaller flat one and 9 pins....

I did take it right out and cleaned with circuit board cleaner.

I just wondered if I have a pin missing as there are only 9 pins not 10.

But it just doesnt look like one has snapped off.

This was mine, I had a broken pin, which does look similar to yours.

I also had the door open bleep from the horn problem.

Look up inside the loom plug to see if you can see the pin.
