I have put a cable tie around one of the ridges and tied it to the cable tie around the two hoses in the picture, its going nowhere now.

Well done Ken, Right Diagnosis without paying for new unit.

Raistlin: That was the unit you got for me if you remember, quite a common fault and does end up playing up and dying.
Poorer fuel Consumption is also a giveaway for this being faulty.
