But, at least I knew it was done properly and not only that after they had replaced the 2 sensors, there still was a problem with the unit which was rectified...... And it's been good ever since, which is over a year now, so I'm happy. Considering that's all it's cost me in 19 months of ownership.....

Hopefully it's something really simple. Kieran said he never had any issues with them so it's just happened in the past week. I'd go out and do the listening thing now but it's wet and I'm in my pyjama's. I'll do it tomorrow.....Maybe Rotrex (Tam) is the man

What's wrong with the heat shield? Remember there is a cold air feed pipe going direct to the air filter housing. You could just replace this with the standard corrugated affair

It split and was rattling and tapping under the car. Same thing happened to my 75 a couple of months ago too. I blame the fact I can't get to my home address without going over at least 4 speedbumps

Ah do you mean the under tray? It cost me a small fortune to get replacement screws for that

Oh nightmare! Sorry Kieran, it split completely so off it came.

Ah, the beeeeeeeeping parking sensors. Mine does that too. I think I will probably just disconnect them. I have the best parking sensor ever invented: a towbar
Is it the exhaust heat shield Anna? If so, I'd want to get it back on PDQ as the exhaust runs through a channel in the fuel tank (which is plastic). I caught mine on a speedbump and managed to get it back in place with a bit of crawling about and a pack of big washers.
