It is less than 1 mile away from me, so I might ring him tomorrow and arrange a viewing.

I would be very intrigued by what its like; looks like it might have had quite a few panels replaced although that could be the light. If its actually alright as its an 04 car I would say thats pretty good.

I have a mate after a tourer and I sent him the link last time this thread came up but he was slightly put off by the inconsistency of description highlighted above.

Suzie has obviously gone up to a Merc!

I dont really see any inconsistency in the ad, its seems genuine enough, and most people arent advertising professionals..

The only thing is the variation in the colour of the drivers side, i dont think its anything, the way the 75/ZT front wing angles into the door does produce that effect on a light metallic because the wing never flattens off to the same angle as the door, giving a distinct change of angle at the panel gap. I can see it on my car depending on the sun angle and product used on the paint.

His other cars seem to have a similar effect, i think the pictures are camera phone pictures, maybe with heavy processing on them (which some phones do). This can make metallic look patchy because it confuses the processing software. His other ads are in a similar format, so i just think thats his style.

Well FWIW, the car currently books at £1,150 Trade to £2,150 Retail at the mileage.

If I was selling it, I would have probably started it closer to £1,850, however the seller has the benefit of actually knowing what the car looks like in the flesh and may want to move it on quickly!

However, IF it is as described and the history checks out, it's definitely not expensive!

Nice looking car. A diesel tourer in my fave color with a tow bar already on. I would have been very tempted and viewing by now if it had been an auto but manual for caravan towing? never again.

Seems about right to me. It's done about 60k miles more than average and 70k miles more than my 03 I sold a couple of months ago.
