Some people have separate work and personal numbers so combine both into one handset, although I use one SIM for my internet hotspot and the other for my normal phone stuff.

Hmm, the manual says that it should be discoverable for the first 3 minutes.

Shame about the OK Google, it should have used the GPS signal to tell when you were home, the pop up a reminder (assuming that Google Maps knows your home address of course!)

Luckily, the dog was at the park so I couldn't have fed him anyway...

UPDATE>>>

I have been in touch with the Grom parent company, and discovered that in order to get bluetooth working one has to plug a dongle into the ext plug on the grom.

After that, you do as Dave Stocktake advised..

I am in the process of obtaining said dongle...

I wouldn't stick your dongle in there, Bob. You might get electrocuted innit.

UPDATE...

Still not sorted this Grom out.. I can find a dongle for it, but only with a USB connection, and that's no good because the USB on my Grom is being used for the memory stick in place of the CD changer.

I need a Blue tooth dongle for a Grom that plugs into the small round multi pin plug, (looks like a mini din plug) labelled EX1 or EX2.

I am waiting for a link from their sales people..

When I manage to find the right leads i will post up a link to them on this thread.

Yes, lead carries the blue tooth aerial for the Grom unit which you will need to place in a behind prominent part of dash that will not shield it like metal, etc.

Looking around, the dongle is about 40 quid. Not cheap for what it is!
