I have seen them every year from 1988 to 2010,a total of 22 years, I went every year, but decided to change after that and go every other year,and alternate between seeing them and visiting the National classic show at NEC.Last time I saw them was in 2012,at The Sage in Gateshead,and the atmosphere just wasn't there. For years they played sell out concerts at Newcastle City Hall,and the place was always buzzing.

I saw them at the Newcastle City Hall in about mid 70's and it was brilliant.

It was, 1984 to be exact, its when Alan Lancaster the original bassist left, the original drummer ,John Coghlan,had already left and Pete Kircher was the drummer from 82-84. They reformed in 1985 with a new bass player,John (Rhino) Edwards, and drummer Jeff Rich.
I met them,and their then manager David Walker RIP,in the early 90s,when they were touring the country signing copies of the latest album which at the time was Under The Influence.
