I only use tap water, no shampoo, then chamois off. I have never ever used a hose since I have had cars, and would never consider using pressure water. (Always thought that would force water into unusual areas.
Recent rains contained a lot of Sahara dust. |

I shampooed Mo yesterday. Went out today to wax and there was a film of that Saharan sand covering her. It was a clear night, no rain, so the finest particles of sand are blowing on the breeze, or slowly falling out of the air.
And remember, we are breathing that sand in every time we go outside while the wind is coming from the south.
