Thats the same sentiment we had at the Nano. I'm sure you will get it sorted Paul but I think replacing parts of the loom so its back to factory spec is the only way to go. You may find that when you do this the powerwash will be fixed too........

Good luck mate

Carla - Please don't give up on the car!

See what i'm up against.

If Jules does take a look could be good as i think the fan could be shot but dont know enough about them yet.

Woollysox (Rob) got the info thanks mate

Must add I fitted the little round switch on Saturday as Carla was having to stop the fan by pulling 2 terminals apart..!! & it seemed a safer option & it worked.

The fan stopped working completlly on Sunday.

Regards

Paul

I'm not sure how much I'll get charged but I do know it will be cheap, I scratch their backs...and they scratch mine. I do get stuff for crazy low prices so I'll give it a go for you if needed. Carla's a great person and I'll help If I can.

Paul, did you take the entire front end off today to see what goes where with the phantom wiring?

Is the car fan harness still present in front of the front passenger wheel, two black plugs? If so it is more than possible it is still operable, all you would need to sort that side out is a standard working fan and relay. Rest of it looks like the stand alone kenlowe set up ( God knows what the switch was for)

Thanks Dave.

Back to factory spec i'm certain is the way to move forward.

Once thats achieved if the Kenlowe is not shot & Carla wants to refit it the it will get done properly as per Jules instructions.

Mods like your lights are great as they don't affect the core of the car (by the way is it Wednesday yet?), it's when aparent numptys do things like this there's a problem.

Regards

Paul

Kermit would appear to be apt, as the wiring seems to have been modified by a Muppett........

I'm hoping it is Dave but need more time to look see, only had a couple of hours this morning. I put the switch in as the only way Carla could turn the fan off was by unplugging 2 spade terminals.
