I had a full system fitted up in Leeds, but I find it far too boomy & don't Rev as a result, so not being used to its potential.....
I believe they do a quieter back box....may have to give it a go, as it currently just irritates me!! |

All of the fitters just buy the right to use the brand, and buy the parts - and let's face it, garages are never usually brilliant at email.
I'd give them a call. If anyone is over this end, I'd recommend DCMS in Burnley. Back in my 'yoof' they put a lovely straight-through system on my 75, and then helped me shut it up a few months later when it set off my tinnitus.

I'd expect a quieter back box to be more restrictive, hence it might stop it revving even more. You might want to reconsider things.

I had a Longlife system fitted to the Sterling, and cost more than the car was worth. No problem with the franchise - but it seems a bit pot luck wherever you are. I would drop in if I were you.
I elected for "a bit noisier" and regretted it, finding it too loud at motorway speeds, but the missus liked to hear me coming home and the chap that bought the car likes it. Oh, and people didn't tend to step out at junctions as they could hear us coming... If you intend keeping the car for any length of time I think it's worth it. I didn't go for it this time with the 75 as money's a bit tight at the moment, but next time, hopefully...

Sorry, but in 2015, if they cannot do something simple like respond to an email enquiry, they don't deserve to stay in Business!
Or if their customer service is that bad, simply remove the email enquiry link off their websites! |

My enquiries were via the website rather than by direct email. In the meantime, I have gone for a replacement mild steel back box, but my long term aim is to have a full cat back stainless system. I will be in touch in the future.
