Keep it! Well, that's what I'd do
It's a special car and you probably would regret selling...........especially if you replace it with an F or TF

You certainly have a hard decision to make, such a beautiful car you have.
I would let nature take its course over the next coming weeks, you will most probably find your mate will pull-out, these type of scenarios rarely come to anything. I would never sell a car to go buy another, I've learnt to buy the car you want first and keep your existing car either for good or for a little while until you are 100% sure the replacement car is what you thought it would be. If you go with your heart and keep the car, can you still go buy a cheap MGF? If you sell the car, you will most probably regret it afterwards, especially as the years tick by, wondering what if I had kept it type of thing. As Mininuts has said, replace it with a F or TF I sincerely wouldn't recommend replacing, especially when your ZT is in such good condition and not needing any money spent. |

Yeah I've pretty much told him I'm keeping it. As much as the idea of getting good money for the car is, it would only get blown on another toy, and then I'd probably need to spend money on that too. I know what's been done to this zt, and all it needs now is a few cosmetic tweaks to make it a stunner.
I think it was just the shock of being offered more than I thought I'd ever get from a zt that turned my head, however I think that one day it's got the potential to be a proper classic car and be worth even more! Thanks to you all for talking sense into me! I don't know why, but every now and then I have these mad moments with vehicles. I get them to where Im happy with it, and then get the itch to get something else. I always regret it in the end though! I just need to give myself a slap sometimes and realise how lucky I am to have something so nice! |

She's beautiful. .
For what it's worth my thoughts go like this: You bought a decent car. Spent ££££'s getting her to where she is now. Do you sell or keep? If you sell you're probably back into the cycle of spending ££££'s and lots and lots of time to get the new one to where the old one already was. If you keep you simply enjoy the fruits of your labours and all the £££'s spent. I know which I'd do. All the best. Andy. |
