Yes, originally they were but they seem to have been owned by the same company all along (Reckitt Bensicker) and now just branded as different types of Brasso products. You can still get the old Brasso in a liquid, of course. But the Duraglit type one isn't as I remember it.

I seem to remember that Duraglit was the wadding type and Brasso is Liquid,whether they are the same formula I dont know
