According to one daily rag, petrol consumption has dropped by 20% in the last 2 months........

I've seen that figure in the press too. I have to say I find it difficult to believe. I think we're certainly going to see a drastic reduction in the popularity of the diesel motor in the next 12 months.

I'm using a lot more fuel as are my engineers and other staff as they are not using Planes as much in UK to get around,
as it is cheaper to drive now the company reckon most of the time. Even though you loose a lot of work time. |

Yep, I have the immense displeasure of using it almost every day and racking up huge bills. It's still a little cheaper than using the car and much more so once you factor in having to pay for parking.
As above, the situation in London is a little different from everywhere else, so my view is skewed. |
