Excellent response, loads of things to check.
Update for the noises after trying a few things 1. it's the window, it goes away if I drop it half an inch or press it outward to the frame while driving, will try vaseline first 2. will try the bcu first - I assume it's accessible once the glovebox is out?? 3. got a bit louder driving tonight, it's a flapping sound and it's volume changes with the heater fan speed so I'm guessing it's the heater motor flaps. How do you get at these or should I just lube with spray? Also noticed with the heater set to hot I still get some cold air out of the footwell vents from the centre console. Also I don't have a sunroof so I'll check the headlining tomorrow Thanks all, Gordon P.S. plenum is clear Last edited by GordyB; 6th October 2015 at 21:39.. |

Thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as things get 'buried' very quickly in the General Forum.

The one that rattles on mine is accessible with the glove box removed. I think I will try the tip from vindaloo and spray some teflon up there and see if it helps.
