Sorry to nip off topic, but out of interest, how old are you and what was the cheapest insurance quote you got?

The best Quote I got is £349.00 with RAC.

My cheapest quote is £3459, think this year was about £2900 but I'm paying monthly at the min so its coming out at £271 per month. I have just turned 21 last month but still though I cant grasp why it is going up

I take it you've tried a quote with your Mum on as a named driver? Often brings it down.

Yep, tried with both my mam and dad. Cant get it any cheaper.
