Happy to look at any around north Northamptonshire (about 20 mile radius from home). Not mechanically minded, I can tell if they don't sound right and am a perfectionist on bodywork and interiors. Indication of what matters and what doesn't would help.

I'm happy to volunteer to cover Portsmouth, Havant, Petersfield and Chichester.

The farthest I went to pick up a car off fleabay unseen was from Hampshire to Carlisle - ended up with a stunning black Rover 600, really jammy.

If you are looking to collect a car from some distance try this.... Do a one-way Avis car hire. My son always comes with me and it saves on double rail fares and is a darn sight more convenient.

Do you realise that Yorkshire is the biggest county in the Country.

York, Harrogate and Leeds areas will be fine.
