Good morning one and all - we're not a very healthy bunch at the moment
Bit concerned over SWMBO's upcoming hospital tests, so not feeling 100% happy myself.
Grey, wet and miserable here at the moment - and that's only me
Definitely a hot porridge morning - those long hot Summer days seem a very distant memory now

Its as if Summer just came to an abrupt stop over night
No gradual change for us to acclimatise!
Never mind.....soon be Christmas

Lets hope everyone on here starts feeling better soon

Good news about the pre op check and all the best for tomorrow Mark. I admire your ability to overcome. I hope you will be feeling better after having a rest.

I was just thinking about the creaking noises. They can't be the links or the bushes as they had been replaced in the past month. One of the members sprayed grease into the tops of the struts and that sorted out the noise for 3 months. I could try that out myself. I was told by the garage that the suspension looked good, but those guys can say anything. I am still to clear the boot and go out for a test drive .

The sun is beginning to break through ....no! I spoke too soon

Hi Phil,

It's about ten years old!
It's a DVD player that is also the control unit for a surround sound system.
It has a failed power supply unit as is the norm for these things
The worry is repairing the power supply to then find that the optical drive doesn't work or the active speaker unit doesn't run
It's all fun
