Pete

Glad there were no physical injuries - I find Famous Grouse whisky a good sleep inducer.

Sugar Beet harvest is in full swing down our part of the Fens, with mud covered roads - not good for RWD motors. This is one of the reasons I switched back to a Rover 75 after having a Jaguar XJ for a while - the Jag was lethal for much of the winter on the roads out here. The Goodyear 4 seasons tyres arrived this morning to go on the 15 inch wheels I have got for the Rover - should make it pretty sure-footed, but this morning I went out in the Skoda Yeti 4WD (now wearing its Hankook winter wheels - I put them on over the weekend) to be safe on the muddy, icy roads first thing.

Went to see marinabrian... And I'm glad I did. Key fobs working, lots of options added and now I've got a couple things to replace/fix.

Great guy, will be back again when I inevitably buy another of these cars. It seems to be catching.

Took Spike to Kenton's workshop to have engine mounts sorted out.

Being FWD, didn't stop Mrs Marinabrian putting her Vauxhall Belmont into a ditch near Fenstanton on a commute to work one day..

Gave the ZT a wash and hoover out, much cleaner than when I started.

Bit embarrassing to have a car which looks so neglected parked outside, I mean even the 214 was showing it up

Fenstanton ? - I assume in Cambridgeshire - a bit off your patch ? - I assume this was a few years back.

Mrs MB was a Midwife at Addenbrookes, lived in a strange town built on a roundabout, and quite frequently bumped into Norma Major shopping in Tesco.

Yes a few years ago
