They are using a T4 now (Or so I'm told - don't know about previously) With the car over 60 miles away, it's a bit difficult to gauge exactly what's going on. I am literally in their hands, The garage which has the car has been sub-contracted by my original garage, so the issue is partly out of my hands.

I appreciate what you guys have said and taken it all on board

In the meantime I managed to squeeze a replacement car out of the garage, albeit a Rover 45, (getting there ) It does have a couple of VERY novel features - Wind up windows and manual wing mirrors

What, no Glass!
And why would anyone need a manual for the wing mirrors?

I imagine it being self-propelling would strike you as a novel feature these days.

Updated some time ago.
I really hope that you really see your car this week.
If not I really think you should have it removed from these alleged "experts"
a Complete 50,000 mile Engine on EBay for £750 would have been easier!!

So do I...... Engine is fine,, now. Its the ECU programming that's holding things up

Besides the "experts" have been commissioned to do the work by the original garage, and he does not want the car back until it is properly fixed. I have discussed this with him, and in the end have to concur.

Might prove to have been cheaper to buy another car - What am I saying!!!!!!

Well you shouldn't be paying for Misdiagnosis or not having correct Test Equipment available (T4).

I'm beginning to think it's not a case of not having a T4, more a case of not having the right operator of the T4.

Even Worse.

I'll bet your need a T4 session on its return to get everything switched back on and working Properly.
